I am currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Cádiz, Cádiz, Spain. I am the coauthor of more than 60 papers presented at conferences and published in scientific journals, including the Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Information Sciences, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, Transaction on Fuzzy Systems and International Journal of Approximate Reasoning. I am interested in the research areas of fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic, logic programming, formal concept analysis, bipolar fuzzy relation equations and algebraic structures for soft computing. I am the ECI Vice Leader of a working group of the COST Action: DIGital FORensics: evidence Analysis via intelligent Systems and Practices (DigForASP) – CA17124, and also collaborate in other nationals projects and research contracts with companies. I am Member of the European Association for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT) and participant of the lab: Mathematics for Computational Intelligence Systems (M·CIS).
